Alys looked around at Anna, Gracie, Demitri, Romilda, Rob, Corin, Shilo, and Liam.

What a great group I have!

Seeing no one else taking the lead she started walking ahead of them, bringing them towards the Death Eaters to start dueling.

"All right, guys. We all know how to duel, correct?"

She rhetorically asked the group over her shoulder, speaking with both confidence in herself and in the others.

"Don't get caught", Iso said. I need to remember...be careful...can't forget...

She saw a group of Death Eaters getting closer and closer to them. She narrowed her eyes in hatred.

"Look confident, not scared, and they'll be more nervous to fight."

She told her group, specifically choosing a younger looking adult in the pack of Death Eaters. She held her head up high and walked up to the man. He looked at her and replied carelessly "Stupefy." Thinking it'd get rid of a small girl like herself. She instantly responded with "Finite Incantatum!" and the man hesitated in surprise.

Alys said loudly, "Expelliarmus!" then quickly whispered "Sectum Sempra." before he could use a spell against her. She smiled at the consequence of the spell which she had learned last battle, and observed the man fall to the ground, blood rushing out of his body.

Doing well so far, but no curses yet.

Isobella ran out onto the feild, rushing off to the front line.

This is my fight! They dared step foot on this area! They're dead.

She pushed herself onto the side, away from the crowd. It was only professors and the Third Party's group of duelists.

A cloaked Death Eater began to duel with Isobella. The dark wizard wasted no time, starting straight off with Crucio.

Isobella fell to the ground.

You really want to play this game? FINE! I win every time.

"Crucio!" she hissed softly.

Gah.. Iso knows that dueling isn't my strength... She must have put me here for a reason...

Anna grabbed her wand from behind her ear and ran after Alys, into the mass of death eaters.

I'm ready to kick some butt!

She spotted a death eater that was heading her way. She acted quickly, pointing her wand at the ground in front of him.

"Bombarda!" she yelled. The earth from underneath him exploded, causing dust and gravel to fly into his eyes, granting Anna with more time.

"Sectumsempra!" she yelled, pointing her wand at the death eater as he fell to the ground.

She kept running, not having time to watch the blood spill forth from her victim's body.

Oh, Anna. The talent that you have. You just need to see it.

Isobella mocked her opponents. "Lookie! I see that the new that the new 'dark lords' have no control over their own kind!"

"You dare?!"

"TRY ME!" Isobella screamed.

"You'll see soon. They assigned the attack. Why would we disobey?" the dark wizard asked.

Isobella frowned a bitter, cold frown. "Avada Kedavra!" she yelled.

Grace's eyes widened.

Don't get caught!

She screamed something unutterable. A small House Elf appeared on the feild. "Tell them to prepare," she told the elf. "It's time. There's too many."

We can hold them off though!

Anna kept running. Screams were piercing through the thin air, bodies were flying everywhere.

She felt something poking her in her leg. She reached into her pajama pants pocket and pulled out a metal spork.

I forgot I had those in there! They could be useful!

Suddenly, she felt the breath of a death eater on her neck.

"Hey little Missy! Sorry you won't be able to say goodbye to any of your cute little friends!" he mocked her, putting his wand to her neck.

"Hey, look! A flying donut!" she whirled around and pointed at the sky.

The death eater looked up in confusion, giving Anna enough time to stab the metal spork into his thin neck.

Blood spurted from his neck as he chocked on his blood, falling to the hard ground.

Anna ran away, laughing nervously.

And I didn't even have to use magic on that one... hehe....

The house-elf vanished.

Soon everything would be ready. Soon they would be safe.

"Avada Kedavra! Avada Kedavra!" Grace shouted at two incoming dark wizards. There was no time to be wasted. They were coming too quickly.

Kill and get it over with.

Liam looked around wildly.

"Bombarda Maxima!"

He yelled, the words tearing from his throat as the ground exploded around them.

Suddenly they were there, one behind him, sneering and holding a wand to his neck.

"Say goodbye, punk!"

Liam breathed quickly, looking around as the Death Eater began,

"Avada Kedav-"

He kicked him in the shins as if his life depended on it, which, really it did.

The Death Eater yelled in confusion, pain and anger and Liam turned, clenching his wand so his knuckles were white,

"AVADA KEDAVRA!"

And the figure fell to the ground, and Liam ran back into the fray, and in the back of his mind, he hoped Alys was okay.

We must protect our school...

"stupefy!" Anna yelled to a death eater to her left. "Sectumsempra!" she pointed her wand at the stunned body.

Suddenly, she stopped in her tracks. There were three death eaters surrounding her with greedy eyes and hands, searching to kill.

It looks like they obviously think that I'm a threat. That must mean that I'm making some progress!

They were close to her. She closed her eyes for a brief moment, took a deep breath and glared into their cold, beady eyes.

"Cruc-" one of them started to say, but Anna wad faster.

She let all her anger build up inside of her. She remembered that the world was a cruel, unforgiving place. Debts needed to be payed, lives needed to be spent. People needed to die.

"AVEDA KADEVERA!"

A jet of green light burst forth from her wand and hit the one death eater square in the chest. His lifeless body flew into the other two, knocking them over, unconscious.

Anna let out all the air she was holding in her chest.

It felt good to let all that anger out.

It felt good to kill.

"Sectumsempra." she whispered, watching the blood flow lively from the bodies of the two unconscious death eaters.

She grinned menacingly and slowly sauntered away.

As she looked around she saw more and more people killing around her. She smiled to herself, she remembered she got a perfect hit the first time she used the killing curse last year.

Time to kill again.

She raced around the area, yelling "Avada Kedavra" to almost every death eater she ran into. Occasionally she'd use "Crucio" for her own amusement. These wizards were evil and deserved to die in pain rather than instantly.

She carefully watched all those being killed. It gave her enough pride and courage to keep going.

I hope the rest of the school is alright.

The house-elf popped back into the scene once again. "It's been opened, Madam Peticross." It bowed in a rather humble manner.

"Evacuate everyone!" she told the elf. "Have you moved what is needed?"

"Yes, madam. Kiki wouldn't forget such things as food!"

"Good, good. Evacuate everyone!" She gave a sharp nod to the house-elf to tell it to leave.

The elf left, and Grace was left alone with the professors and the small group of children.

She glanced at each of them. Oh how proud she was of each of them. Isobella had a natural talent for dueling, an untammable fury. Alys had an odd streak for the dark arts.

Only a Second Year, and she's already so good. What more is she capable of?

And not to mention Anna's rather creative ways of death. Liam Ross didn't seem to shabby either.

She turned to Isobella and Alys, who were fighting close to each other. "TELL EVERYONE TO GET BACK TO THE CASTLE! The house-elves know what to do!" she screamed. She looked back at the Professors. "We'll hold the forces off for enough time!"

Alys gave a short, sharp nod to Grace. Dodging spells and shooting off some more curses, she was able to get to Anna and a few others, repeating Grace's words to them. Watching them leave, she hoped Iso found the others that Alys couldn't.

Lastly, she raced over to Liam, grabbed one of his hands, and 'led' him to the castle, explaining what Grace had told her. Alys wanted him to be safe.

She shouted a few more curses as she ran into the building with Liam, tuning out the screams of the dying Death Eaters and captured students, as she looked for the house elves.

Anna fled from the battlefield and entered the castle, shooting curses at death eaters as she went.

Once she was safely inside, she stopped to catch her breath and then looked around wildly for the house-elves and/or Alys.

Isobella let out a sharp cry. "NO!"

She glanced back at the others. "Go back! Go back!"

A hand forced her down by her forearm. "Stop it!" she hissed.

Grace stood behind her. "Go. Back."

Isobella shrunk back down. "Fine," she muttered. "Fine."
