Gracie waited for her friends to join her at the doors. They all wanted to see what really was in the dungeons. She looked down the long flight of stairs and the blue flames lighting it. this would be a perfect time for sneaking around, because they didn't have classes on break...

Anna giggled. She loved sneaking out. It had become her little secret.

"Oh!" She gasped when she saw someone else there in the tunnels. "What are you doing here?"

Gracie was very surprised to see someone else scouring the tunnels. "Sneaking around, just like you, I guess. I'm Gracie." she half-smiled. I'm waiting for Anna Linghigher, were going to snoop around together. Wanna come?"

"Gracie?" Anna called through the dark tunnel. She turned a corner and ran into her friend. "Grace, why do you keep running ahead of me like that? You know how much these tunnels creep me out!"
She turned to the other girl, "Oh! You must be the other Anna I've seen around! It's nice to finally meet you!"

Gracie looked rather sheepish, but then playfully punched her friend in the arm. "Keep up next time!" she grinned.

Anna Sophia Himmelreich grinned slyly. "Well then let's go! What are you waiting for? Follow me!"

The basement had two known places, the Lumieres rooms and the Pocombatie rooms.

"It's after hours. We can sneak away to the foggy islands. I have a broom or we could take a boat. We could also go to the beach if you want."

Gracie contemplated their choices, then replied, "We should go on brooms. It'll be fastest."

"Guys... I must admit that I've never done anything this exciting before! I feel so..." Anna looked anxiously around the tunnel, "rebelious."
Anna followed her friends down the dark, damp tunnel, her heart beating faster with every step.

"Good." The girl smiled. "I'm Anna, but you can call me Sophie. It's my middle name. Wait here."

She went into the Lumieres common room and came out with her broom. "Let's go get yours."

Gracie nodded. "It's outside, in the broom cupboard closest to the beach. So's Anna's." she said. "C'mon Sophie, Anna, let's scoot."

"Nice to finally meet you, Sophie!"

The girls ran out to the beach, grabbed their brooms, and took off into the misty, cool night.
Anna felt the wind whipping through her hair. It was one of her favorite feelings. She felt so... free.
The Foggy Islands came slowly into sight. Anna could now see why they were called the foggy islands. Their name suited them well. The islands were covered in a thick fog, making the petite shops difficult to see.
Anna leaned down on her broom and sailed down towards the ground. She thought she saw a person darting through the darkness, but then the figure disappeared. Her feet hit the soggy ground and she dismounted.

Might as well get some pratice in Gracie thought.

"Accio Broomstick!" Gracie broom shot out of the shed and hit her in the face. "I always knew brooms hated Kliegers. Now it's official!" she muttered as she mounted her broom. She looked at her two friends. "Hey, let's have a race! First one around the lake wins!" she grinned, mounting her broom. "On your mark, get set..."

Adam walked out onto the grounds.

"Lumos." he muttered, but the light did little to penetrate the mist.

He heard low voices and some laughter. Adam ducked behind some pines and saw 3 girls.

Them again! He thought. Adam recognized the Habena girl and the Klieger, but not the blonde one.

Anna dismounted her broom, laughing. "I'm pretty sure I won, Gracie!"
Her smile quickly faded as she turned around to face the group of pine trees behind her. "Guys... I think I saw someone over there... by the trees..."

Adam's heart pounded.

I'll probably get chewed ouit before the day is done for sneaking out!
